Enjoy the extraordinary experience of our extra virgin olive oil tasting; we go along with you in a sensory journey to discover the “liquid gold” Whether raw or cooked, extra virgin olive oil will always improve the flavour of a dish in which it is used but that combining is an art and we will give you the best sources of information possible. After a brief introduction on this pillar of Italian gastronomy’s history and cultural legacy, we walk our guests through our production philosophy centred on the use of a low-impact oxidative system that respects the cultivar’s integrity and traceability.
We will conduct our tasting on our farmhouse; an old rectory dationg back 1200, sorrounded by the tuscany rolling hills.

The experience of olive oil tasting is unique and it allows to really touch regional food philosophy. Katia’s uncle, Fulvio, has a really wide knowledge about olive oil but also is passionate about cooking, so I received a lot of useful information on which olive oil to which food. I think this experience is a must for every foodie.
