Description
Walking in Val d’Elsa. Starting from Mensanello we will walk along the Via Francigena, the ancient pilgrims route which starts from Canterbury in England and ends in Rome, passing through France. We will then walk through the area of the old paper mills and the water springs of “Le Vene” where people still find refreshment today. We walk back to to the nice village of Mensanello, where the family farm is located. The family makes olive oil, beer, wine and salami and you can enjoy here a visit and tasting their products after the tour.
